Citizens Home and is licensed by the province of NewBrunswick and is accredited by the Canadian Council on Hospitals.

Accreditation. It was incorporated in 1966, and is a non-profit organization providing long-term care to the aged and Handicap.
The care is based on the Home's philosophy, the health and social needs of the aged and it's role and responsibility in the relationship to the delivery of services, in the province. We have a 105 bed capacity offering services according to those in need. We believe in quality of life and to this end, we develop and renew policies for the delivery of programs to the reflect and support this philosophy.
Our philosophy is that all persons created by God have a right to life and during this life is treated with respect, dignity, love and compassion. We believe in social justice and inherit right of each individual, therefor, our admitting policy is based on need, regardless of the person's sex, race, color, creed or religion.

Providing continuing educational opportunities and resources for
Personnel, Board of Directors and Volunteers.
Dietary: A Dietary service under the direction of a qualified Dietitian and Support Personnel,
providing Nutritious and Therapeutic Diets providing meals in a main dining room to accommodate
50 to 60 people along with our Satellite Dining Rooms on each of our three wings. Our Dining Room
is open for Visitors and Seniors living near by. Festive Days are celebrated with traditional menues.
